Laboratory Technician/Senior Laboratory Technician

We are currently accepting applications for a Laboratory Technician/Senior Laboratory Technician, based in our modern production and research laboratories in Theale, Berkshire. (Full-time and Part-time).

Salary and benefits:

£17,000 - £24,000 per annum full time (PLUS EVENING SHIFT ALLOWANCE). The starting salary will be based on experience and qualifications and will be reviewed annually on a merit basis.

Benefits include 23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (and an extra day for each year of service up to 28 days), a contributory pension scheme & life assurance.

Hours:

Full time and part-time vacancies

Afternoon/evening work:

Full-time hours: start 2.45 pm -11.00 pm, Monday to Friday

Part-time hours: start  5.30/6.00 pm - 11.00 pm, Monday to Friday

Duties:

The role is essentially of a practical nature involving the production and development of liquid chromatography columns. Tasks will be varied including testing, measuring, recording and analysing results and supporting the laboratories so that they function effectively, adhering to procedures and health & safety guidelines.

Training:

You will be given comprehensive in-house training.
